Required Skills: •Preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and purchase requisitions for various Electrical Products •Development and/or maintenance of Material Master Data and Parts Baselines in SAP •Determination of critical equipment characteristics to support equipment qualification and commercial grade dedication •Assist in the development of equipment qualification test procedures, support during testing, evaluate test results and review final reports •Preparation of Commercial Dedication Instructions •Development of Engineered solutions to address obsolescence issues for various electrical products •Provide engineering support to customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and shop operations for a variety of products •Become Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field in which it is assigned concerning specific electrical products and components Qualifications: •A bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent is required. •General knowledge of electrical distribution systems and equipment, including Low/Medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motors, motor-generator sets, and motor control centers, is required. •Demonstrated capacity to mentor lower-level engineers. •Demonstrated capacity to design components, parts and full assemblies with the use of design software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, etc. •Previous experience in the nuclear industry, specifically in nuclear power plant safety / non-safety systems, is desired.
