Required Skills: •Improve the design quality, ensure consistent implementation of standard designs, and play a key role in developing & mentoring our team members Qualifications: •Or minimum 14 years’ work experience related to electrical substation design with professional engineering license. •A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited engineering program is required. •A Master of Science or Engineering in Electrical Engineering and / or a PE License is preferred. •Knowledge in Bentley Microstation and ProjectWise. •Coursework related to three-phase AC power, transformers, and electrical machines. •Expert knowledge on industry standards and codes •Excellent oral & written communication skills including the ability to teach others and communicate effectively both internally & externally to the department. •Proficient MS Office computer skills. •Demonstrated capacity to physically navigate in and around an electrical substation. •14 years’ work experience related to electrical substation design with professional engineering license.
