Required Skills: •Architect and implement secure, scalable infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) and AI-driven infrastructure principles, ensuring robustness for modern machine learning workloads. •Lead the modernization of CI/CD pipelines, transitioning from legacy systems to robust GitOps approaches using Argo CD and GitHub Actions. •Implement advanced logging, monitoring, and observability solutions (e.g., Grafana) to support reliability and performance. •Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Information Security (InfoSec) teams to drive the adoption of scalable, compliant (FedRAMP, DR) DevOps practices. •Mentor and coach junior and off-shore engineering teams, fostering technical growth, leading daily stand-ups, and representing the Platform team in key architectural meetings. •Hands-on expertise in AWS-based cloud systems, Infrastructure as Code, and modern CI/CD orchestration. Proven ability to design scalable architectures, influence technical direction, and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization. Qualifications: •Deep technical experience with Data Pipelines, Iceberg, MSK, and MSK Connect. •Proficiency in Hashicorp Vault, GitHub Actions, and modern CI/CD modernization (Argo CD). •Demonstrated success in architectural leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance-driven development (FedRAMP, DR). •B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. •As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. •The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is $184,500-246,000 •The salary range for positions that will be physically based in all other locations within the United States is $165,000-220,000. •We will accept applications on an ongoing basis until we fill the position.
