Hiring: Power Test Engineer, Satellite Power Hardware-In-The-Loop, Amazon Leo Company: Amazon Location: Redmond, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:42:38 Target Skills & Keywords : Systems Design About the job Experience: •2+ years of experience in a hardware or software test role Required Skills: •Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. •Architect, design, and automate new vehicle test cases that validate and verify satellite performance against requirements •Interface directly with operators and engineers to troubleshoot anomalies found in production hardware and software test •Build standard operating procedures to scale routine satellite operations and reduce recurring issues and non conformances •Collaborate cross-functionally with Power Systems testing stakeholders to capture power systems test venue needs and requirements and perform trade-offs to meet those requirements •Provide test input to vehicle power system design trade studies and support next-generation power systems development •Design, prototype, and deploy test systems hardware and software to verify and validate power systems performance against requirements. •Responsible for ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of spacecraft power systems from early development through production.
