Hiring: Power Systems Engineer III Company: Electric Power Engineers Location: Austin, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 13:28:34 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Python About the job Required Skills: •Join us in leading the change! •Work on interconnection projects, including modeling, due diligence, interconnection analysis including evaluating available capacity for transmission lines and substations and estimate timing and costs. •How You Can Make An Impact •Perform power system impact studies: Steady State, Short Circuit, and Dynamic Stability •Perform NERC-compliance-related technical analyses such as TPL-001-4 Annual Planning Assessments. •Perform full generator interconnection studies which may also include Sub-Synchronous Resonance (SSR) studies. •Ensure that renewable and/or storage resource projects interconnecting to the transmission system meet Voltage Ride-Through (VRT) requirements. •Participate in WECC working group meetings and case building efforts on behalf of specific clients as assigned.
