Hiring: Portfolio Manager - Healthcare Company: Huntington National Bank Location: Cleveland, OH Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 17:56:32 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords: Commercial Lending, Underwriting, Portfolio Management, Credit Administration, Risk Rating, Covenant Compliance, Collateral Exceptions, Borrowing Base, Syndicated Loan Market, S&P Capital IQ, Microsoft Excel, Healthcare Underwriting, Middle Market Underwriting, Credit Documentation, Capital Markets, Treasury Management Experience: • 5+ years of experience in an underwriting or commercial banking environment • Experience in the syndicated loan market (preferred) • Healthcare or middle market underwriting experience (preferred) • Formal credit training (preferred) Required Skills: • Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with credit policies • Monitor a portfolio of commercial loans, proactively identifying emerging risks and escalating concerns as appropriate • Maintain accurate risk ratings • Portfolio administration, including management of delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base and covenant compliance, and product renewals • Attend client calls (virtual or in-person) with Relationship Management and other Bank partners • Conduct industry and market research using available resources • Review and negotiate credit documentation in consultation with legal counsel • Assist with training and/or mentoring Analyst & Associate level colleagues • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel • Proficiency in S&P Capital IQ (preferred) Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree required (Finance, Accounting, or related field) • High level of professionalism and attention to detail • Ability to collaborate with internal partners including Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets, Treasury Management and other product partners • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market/industry trends • Exempt status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay) • Workplace Type: Office (certain positions outside the branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement) Compensation: • $70,000 - $140,000 Annually • Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education • Eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan • Benefits include health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
