Required Skills: •The Defense Mission and Health Solutions team, Benefits, Claims & Integrity Solutions Operating Unit seeks a •Policy Director •to support our Health and Human Services (HHS) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) customer delivery and be part of the leadership for CMS Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) initiatives. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the Policy Director ensures organizational policies align with federal requirements, industry standards, and Peraton's operational objectives. This role plays a central part in driving enterprise-wide policy advancement, risk mitigation, and decision-making support. •What you'll do: •Lead the development, review, and implementation of enterprise and program-level policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. •Serve as a senior advisor to executives, program managers, and mission partners on policy interpretation, compliance requirements, and operational impacts. •Coordinate cross-functional policy consultations with Legal, Contracts, Security, HR, Engineering and Program Management stakeholders. •Conduct policy gap analyses and endure alignment with federal regulations, agency directives, and contractual obligations. •Maintains up to date expertise on ACA requirements and their impact on Eligibility Program policies. •Drive continuous improvement by establish policy lifecycle management processes, documentation standards, and review cycles. •Monitor changes in the regulatory environment and provide recommendations to proactively address emerging risks. •Support audits, assessments, and readiness activities by ensuring policy compliance and documentation accuracy. •Manage stakeholder engagement across diverse mission areas, ensuring policies are practical, mission-supportive and risk-aware. •Represent Peraton at customer meetings, working groups, and policy-driven forums when required.
