Required Skills: •Who wants to grow their career with a company that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and technical expertise. •Troubleshoot and repair electrical machinery and control systems throughout the plant, including sawmill, planer, boiler, and kiln operations. •Diagnose and resolve PLC, electrical, instrumentation, and process control issues. •Interpret PLC logic and make necessary modifications to restore or improve equipment performance. •Implement and support new control systems and upgrades to improve equipment efficiency and reliability. •Coordinate work activities with production and maintenance leadership to minimize downtime. •Maintain critical backups for all computer systems and PLC programs. •Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate system and component performance; document and analyze results. Qualifications: •High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification is a plus. •Manufacturing experience required; wood products experience preferred. •Strong experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix. •Knowledge of industrial electricity, motor controls, VFDs, and AC drives. •Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. •Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively across production, maintenance, and engineering. •Demonstrated capacity to read electrical schematics and blueprints. •Willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. •Demonstrated capacity to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work in industrial environments for extended periods. •Demonstrated capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights or in confined spaces, and safely use tools and equipment.
