Required Skills: •Ever wonder who brings the entertainment to your flights? Panasonic Avionics Corporation is #1 in the industry for delivering inflight products such as movies, games, Wi-Fi, and now Bluetooth headphone connectivity! •Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor development and production of prototypes. •Coordinate production plans to ensure electrical and mechanical materials are provided according to schedules. •Review Engineering Bill of Materials in conjunction with Enterprise Resource Planning and Contract Manufacturing support to ensure materials for assemblies are accurately listed and can be manufactured. •Interface with various departments in order to expedite operations that delay schedules and/or alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. •Coordinate with internal departments to ensure Material Requirement Planning (MRP) driven changes and request dates fully support the manufacturing build and customer delivery schedule. •Use just-in-time (JIT) planning by reviewing on hand quantities and ordering per Build Matrix quantities. •Create Purchase Requisitions within Enterprise Management System, to order materials for the development of Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) assemblies. Qualifications: •High School Diploma or GED •AA Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred. •Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with various departments and levels. •Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail •Strong ability to multi-task and apply priority to projects with adaptability and urgency while meeting timelines. •Knowledge of inventory control systems. •Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Schedules. •Demonstrated capacity to work with and build relationships with vendors. •Demonstrated capacity to work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Ability to exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action •Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of procurement and planning basics and engineering requirements.
