Hiring: Physician Assistant Company: University of Utah Location: Salt Lake City, UT Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:21:06 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : ACLS, BLS About the job Required Skills: •As part of a world-class institution with excellent benefits, our APCs have ongoing educational opportunities—including weekly vascular-focused conferences—and access to research, quality improvement, and project involvement. •In addition to direct patient care, intermittent teaching interaction with residents, medical students, and APC students may be expected, along with participation in team meetings, conferences, and special projects. •Conduct comprehensive assessments of new and established vein-care patients through history-taking and physical examination. •Formulate care plans based on patient condition, diagnostic findings, and evidence-based vein-care guidelines. •Obtain informed consent for office-based venous procedures and counsel patients on expectations, risks, alternatives, and postoperative care. •Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies-such as venous duplex ultrasound-to support diagnosis and treatment planning. •Manage follow-up care for patients undergoing vein-related interventions, including wound checks, symptom monitoring, and medical optimization. •Collaborate closely with supervising physicians regarding treatment plans and escalations of care. Qualifications: •Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant from the State of Utah. •Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system.
