Hiring: Physician Assistant Company: Loyal Source Government Services Location: El Centro, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-13 10:26:00 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Required Skills: •Knowledge of and ability to apply professional PA principles, procedures, and techniques to patient care. •Alertness and skill in providing care and reacting to emergency situations. •Interpersonal skills to develop a rapport with patients and co-workers during which instructional information is presented. •Has experience in working closely with consulting/supervising physicians, peers and others in positions of authority (ex: law enforcement). •Can make independent clinical decisions such as diagnosis, treatment and referrals. •Has experience working with Standard Operating Procedures. •Can work with persons from diverse backgrounds including non-English speaking people. •Works under the administrative direction of program management staff. Qualifications: •The PA must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) if required by state for licensure. •Candidates must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, or the American Safety and Health Institute. •Candidates must have at least one year of clinical experience obtained after initial licensure as a Physician Assistant in any combination of family medicine, emergency medicine, acute care, ambulatory care, and/or public/community health medicine. •Within the preceding three years, candidates may not have a gap in clinical practice exceeding six months unless the gap is fully explained and approved of by leadership. •Candidates must have experience providing care to pediatric patients and pregnant patients within the preceding five years and be comfortable treating both populations. •The PA must not have any healthcare certifications or licenses withheld, suspended, revoked, or denied •The PA must not have surrendered or allowed a license or certificate to expire or lapse because of an investigation or disciplinary action. •The PA must not have been convicted of, or pled guilty to, or pled nolo contendre to, or received probation before judgment for any crime other than a minor traffic violation the record of which has not been expunged. •The PA shall follow state and federal laws and regulations relating to prescription of dangerous drugs and controlled substances. •Shall comply with all state and federal laws governing patient care privacy regulations.
