No •Manage Pharmacy Purchasing activities, including workflow monitoring, Purchase Orders, order acknowledgments, order expediting, phone orders, and order processing, in a timely and accurate manner. •Utilize the prime vendor’s ordering system and consistently prepare orders through their web portal to secure the best possible pricing. •Analyzes the drug recall process and communicates the recall to the Supply Chain Manager. •Place orders, close purchase orders, open POS when shipments are delayed or received impartially; monitor, turn, and adjust par levels to maximize freshness while minimizing out-of-stocks. •Recognizes, communicates, and escalates supply chain and inventory management, critical path, and/or timeline concerns in a timely manner. •Manage the patient-specific ordering and tracking process for ultra-high-cost pharmaceuticals. Qualifications: •High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred •Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? •Pharmacy Technician [State License] - Generic - HR Only required Pharmacy Technician Certification [CPhT] - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required •Understanding of policies and procedures related to procurement activity. •Understanding of sound business practices and principles. •Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and professional interactive skills. •Demonstrated capacity to effectively present information and respond to questions from suppliers, customers, management, and interdepartmental staff. •Portray a professional demeanor with procurement team members, customers, and vendors alike. •Works under constant time deadlines. •Occasionally exposed to infectious disease and to possible carcinogenic, mutagenic, and sensitizing medications.
