Hiring: Pharmacy Delivery Driver Company: AbsoluteCare Location: Greater New Orleans Region Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 13:00:21 About the job Required Skills: •This role works with our Pharmacy Team as well as our Care Teams to ensure all members receive their medications. This role will also be responsible to make deliveries to members who have not received their medications timely. •Interface directly with pharmacy staff to ensure that deliveries leave the pharmacy at the appropriate time and delivered to the designated location requested. •Transport and deliver medication to patients in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss. •Maintain delivery log of activities per policy and procedure, which may include checking and/or logging recipient identification. •Report status and any problems to pharmacy management. •Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work under limited supervision. Qualifications: •Maintain valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance. •Basic computer skills including competency with Microsoft Outlook or similar scheduling tools. •High school diploma or equivalent. •Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours. •Strong customer service and communication skills. •Prior delivery driving experience a plus. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate clearly and exchange accurate information constantly. •Demonstrated capacity to remain stationary for long periods of time. •Job may be physically demanding at times. •Operates computer, keyboard, copy and fax machine, phone, and other general office equipment.
