Applicants who applied previously need not reapply unless submitting updated and/or missing information. •Pharmacist Total Compensation | Pay (ihs.gov) •Lead and oversee the local setup and maintenance of clinical software along with the implementation of new clinical packages/software patches. •Analyzes and evaluates processes related to information flow and serves as a liaison between service lines concerning these processes to ensure appropriate and accurate data flow. •Trains providers and other system users, on a continuous basis, to incorporate new technology into their daily practice, along with developing tools to enhance appropriate and accurate documentation and promotion of the importance of data validity and data security to all system users. •Develops treatment protocols, standards of practice, and policies associated with, or that may be enhanced by, the Electronic Health Record (EHR) through collaboration with other health professionals and applications coordinators. •Prior to the appointment, candidates must present two valid forms of identification. If one of the documents is a state-issued ID or driver's license, it must be REAL ID-compliant. •IHS Selectees that will work in an IHS health care facility may be subject to Employee Health Policies related to Measles and Rubella, and seasonal influenza immunizations. Vaccine exemption requests may be available according to the National and/or Service Unit guidance. Qualifications: •Selectee may be subject to a probationary period •Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 •This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children. Due to this requirement, the agency must ensure that persons hired for these positions have not been found guilty of or pleaded nolo contendere or guilty to certain crimes. •Confidential Financial Disclosure Form required. •The selected individual is required to obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges, including any licensure requirements. If privileges are not obtained or maintained during employment, the employee will be subject to adverse actions, up to and including removal from Federal service.
