Hiring: Pharmacist in Charge Company: Phaxis Location: Knoxville, TN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 18:04:25 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Compliance About the job Experience: •🔹 Compounding pharmacy experience •🔹 Experience with •State Board of Pharmacy inspections or regulatory audits •🔹 Experience developing or maintaining •SOPs and quality assurance programs •🔹 Proven experience leading and developing pharmacy teams Required Skills: •💊 Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, workflow, staffing, scheduling, and productivity •👥 Lead, coach, train, and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff •✅ Ensure prescriptions, compounding, dispensing, and verification processes are completed safely and accurately •📋 Maintain compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations, Board of Pharmacy requirements, USP standards, and established SOPs •503A compounding operations •and medication preparation, labeling, storage, and dispensing processes •🛡️ Maintain a strong culture of medication safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance •🏛️ Serve as the primary pharmacy contact for •Board of Pharmacy inspections, audits, accreditation activities, and regulatory inquiries •📊 Review medication errors, incidents, complaints, and quality concerns and implement corrective actions when necessary •📦 Oversee medication and supply inventory, purchasing, storage, organization, and expiration management •📚 Maintain pharmacy documentation, policies, licenses, registrations, staff competencies, and regulatory records •🤝 Partner closely with the •Director of Pharmacy •on operational improvements and strategic initiatives Qualifications: •Active Pharmacist license in good standing in Tennessee •️ Ability to serve as the designated •2 years of pharmacy experience; 3-5+ years preferred •️ Pharmacy leadership, supervisory, or management experience strongly preferred •️ Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, compliance, medication safety, and quality standards •️ Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills •Highly Preferred: •PIC or Pharmacy Manager Compensation: •🏥 Healthcare Benefits •💰 401(k) •📅 Monday-Friday schedule •Competitive $160K-$180K salary •This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a pharmacist ready to take ownership of a growing pharmacy operation while maintaining the highest standards of •patient safety, compliance, quality, and team performance. •Interested or know someone who may be a fit?
