Assist team leaders in maintaining their preference lists, executing trials; identifying acceptable substitutes for backordered or discontinued items and follow-up on product recalls. •Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in inventory management practices. •Maintain documentation related to inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. •Participate in regular inventory audits to verify stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and identify potential issues requiring corrective action. Execute quarterly cycle counts with team leaders; reconcile discrepancies and educate and consult key users of all entities. •Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing information, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery of supplies. Collaborate with vendors to establish consignment inventories and managing stock levels, reconciling quarterly. •Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness in perioperative inventory management. •Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, usage rates, and other relevant metrics to inform decision-making and performance evaluation. Qualifications: •Provide training and support to perioperative staff on proper inventory management procedures, including use of inventory management systems and adherence to inventory control policies. •High School Grade or Equivalent. . •Prior experience in inventory management, preferably in a healthcare or perioperative setting. •Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. •Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work collaboratively in a team environment. •Operational familiarity with inventory management software/systems is desirable. •Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to inventory management in healthcare settings. •Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and environments.
