Hiring: PeopleSoft Developer (On-site) Company: DXC Technology Location: Arlington, VA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 17:57:18 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords: PeopleSoft HCM, PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, Process Scheduler, BI Publisher/XML Publisher, SQL, Oracle Database 19c, Oracle APEX, PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), Azure DevOps (ADO), SAFe/Scaled Agile, PUM, De-customization, PeopleTools Upgrades, PHIRE, Stonebranch, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Row-Level Security, Federal Government HR Modernization Experience: - 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience - At least 3 years supporting PeopleSoft HCM in a Federal Government or similarly complex enterprise environment - Mid-Senior level role Required Skills: - Design, develop, test, and support customizations, interfaces, reports, conversions, and extensions for PeopleSoft HCM - Expertise in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, BI Publisher/XML Publisher, and SQL - Support PeopleSoft HCM modules including Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Position Management, and Employee/Manager Self-Service - Root-cause analysis and resolution of defects, data issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures - Support PUM image adoption, de-customization, PeopleTools upgrades, patching, retrofits, and environment synchronization - Develop and maintain technical design, configuration, migration, and release support documentation - Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) and structured system/integration testing - Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog tracking, user stories, sprint boards, defects, and reporting - Knowledge of PeopleSoft security, row-level security, roles/permission lists, and secure production operations - Familiarity with Oracle Database (preferably 19c), SQL optimization, query tuning, and data troubleshooting - Experience with operational/support tools such as PHIRE, Stonebranch, or similar (a plus) - Oracle PeopleSoft technical, PeopleTools, or HCM-related certifications (a plus) Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field - Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Security Clearance - Ability to work independently while coordinating with developers, team leads, testers, analysts, and business stakeholders in a SAFe/Scaled Agile delivery environment - Experience supporting on-prem PeopleSoft environments; understanding of OCI architecture and cloud migration considerations is highly desirable - Experience supporting PeopleSoft implementations within Army, DoD, or other Federal civilian/defense environments is highly desirable - Work Environment: On-site, Crystal City, Arlington, VA Compensation: - Featured benefits include: Medical insurance, Vision insurance, Dental insurance, 401(k), Paid maternity leave, Student loan assistance, Commuter benefits, Child care support, Pension plan, Paid paternity leave, Tuition assistance, Disability insurance Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
