Required Skills: •Partner with functional stakeholders and managers to ensure employee and business needs are met, with a focus on organizational health, change leadership, and talent management. •Implement and support HR processes, including performance management cycles, goal setting, and compensation reviews, to support business growth. •Provide counsel and guidance on employee matters, handling day-to-day HR inquiries with a focus on fairness, compliance, and culture. •Support managers with personal and team development, helping them build high-performing and inclusive teams. •Deploy initiatives that increase employee engagement and satisfaction. •Utilize people data to identify trends and influence decisions; ensure high data accuracy in our HR systems. •Maintain and improve HR workflows to ensure scalability and efficiency. •Model and reinforce our cultural values of respect, curiosity, action, and excellence in all interactions. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field or equivalent years of experience. •3+ years of experience in a HR Business Partner role. •In-depth knowledge of wage & hour laws •Demonstrated ability to coach managers on team development and performance feedback. •Demonstrated capacity to travel to other Vast locations (Mojave 1x/qtr & Hawthorne 1x/week) as required. •Willingness to work flexible hours to support critical mission milestones. •We calibrate level and compensation to the selected candidate's experience and demonstrated capability.
