Required Skills: •Supervises, assigns, directs and verifies the work of assigned personnel. •Ensures timely preparation and filing of federal, state and local tax returns and processing of payroll tax payments in excess of $600 million annually. •Provides payroll tax expertise and support to resolve client payroll tax concerns. •Establishes and maintains a positive relationship with clients, CPAs and Paychex departments. •Supervises training of personnel; recommends, implements and monitors on-the-job training and education to ensure professional advancement of assigned personnel. •Recruits, selects, hires and evaluates performance of personnel to ensure all department needs are handled appropriately. Counsels and develops staff for personal and corporate advancement through career development, training programs and other resources as required for professional advancement. •Maintains knowledge of changes in payroll tax laws and tax agency requirements. •Plans, coordinates and organizes the quarter-end and year-end process, to ensure accurate transmission of tax returns and payments. Qualifications: •Associate's Degree in 1 year of experience in Leadership role.
