Required Skills: •Full-Cycle Payroll: Process bi-weekly or weekly payrolls for all salaried and hourly employees in Dayforce, reviewing timesheets for accuracy, overtime, and project allocations. •Adjustments & Deductions: Process special pay items including bonuses, retro pay, and per diems, as well as involuntary deductions like wage garnishments and tax levies. •Banking & Disbursements: Initiate direct deposits, cut manual checks, and execute accurate withdrawals and transfers from the company bank account to fund payroll and associated liabilities. •Tax & Year-End Reporting: Reconcile payroll data, manage Alabama and federal tax compliance, and accurately generate, file, and distribute W-2 forms annually. •Record Keeping: Maintain confidential, organized electronic and physical payroll files, resolve payroll discrepancies, and field employee pay inquiries.
