This position will provide hands-on payroll support with a strong focus on union reporting, payroll compliance, tax-related activities, reconciliations, and payroll analysis. •The Payroll Analyst will work closely with Payroll, Human Resources, Accounting, Tax, and external partners to research and resolve payroll issues, support reporting requirements, and help ensure accurate and timely payroll operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and working in a deadline-driven environment. •KEY RESPONSIBILITIES •Manage and review union payroll activities, including union deductions, benefits, collective bargaining agreement requirements, and related reporting. •Prepare, review, and track union reports, certified payrolls, and remittance documentation. •Partner with Payroll and Tax teams on quarterly and year-end tax activities, reconciliations, audits, and payroll liability research. •Perform payroll reconciliations, variance analysis, and research on complex or irregular payroll items such as per diem, allowances, garnishments, and other adjustments. •Support multi-state payroll activities and research state-specific payroll and overtime requirements. •Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll close activities, including W-2 validation and audit support. •Use Excel to analyze large payroll datasets, create reports, perform reconciliations, and identify discrepancies or trends. •Location: Phoenix, AZ •Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; flexible start times as early as 5:45 AM •Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite •Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 annually Compensation: •$70,000 •$80,000 •$70,000–$80,000 Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
