This position will assist in coordinating medical care and intervention with other team members and providers. •Deliver high-quality patient care by providing prescribed medical treatment, providing physical assessments, developing plans of care, and implementing medical support services. •Administer medication and treatments as prescribed. Evaluate, assess, monitor, and record patient symptoms and changes in their conditions. •Coordinate, consult, and problem solves medical care and intervention with Interdisciplinary team members and providers. •Consistently and independently follow established safety procedures. Report any medical or medication errors by end of shift. •Maintain updated knowledge of professional licensure and medications procedures, healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices, by actively participating in professional and educational development. •Participate in staff meetings and inter-agency meetings as required. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects. •Document and audit the medical record for all medically necessary client care to ensure continuity of care. Qualifications: •High school diploma or completion of G.E.D. required. •Basic Life Support Certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. •Colorado Community paramedic endorsement and current certification from the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC) CP-C exam preferred •Basic Life Support Certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire required •Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred. •More than three years of experience working as a community paramedic preferred.
