Required Skills: •Join Alston & Bird’s nationally recognized Finance Practice Group and play a key role in some of the most sophisticated corporate and finance transactions in the market. •Assist attorneys with transaction management, due diligence, document preparation and organization, closing processes, and regulatory compliance matters. You will have the opportunity to work closely with legal professionals and clients while gaining valuable experience across a broad range of finance-related matters. •Manage and assist with the closing of various transactions, including the preparation, coordination, and organization of closing sets. •Partner cross-functionally with attorneys to draft and prepare legal documents related to asset purchase, structured finance, and securitization transactions. •Prepare, coordinate, and manage Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings. •Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with UCC requirements and state-specific regulations. •Perform due diligence reviews, including examining the financial and legal backgrounds of parties involved in transactions. •Maintain accurate and organized transaction records, track deadlines, and monitor filing requirements. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred but not required.
