Hiring: Painter Company: NOV Location: Fort Worth, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 14:43:58 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Assembly, Quality Assurance About the job Experience: •1-2 years of experience •3-5 years of experience •5+ years’ experience or demonstrate competency in related field •2 years of experience •5 years of experience Required Skills: •Material preparation – masking, blowing, sanding and preparing components •Painting – selecting and mixing paints, operating painting equipment including pumps and guns •Abrasive blasting – occasionally operating abrasive blasting equipment to prepare components for paint •Read equipment assembly specifications, such as charts, schematics, blueprints, and typed instructions and details •Participate in regular shop/yard organization and cleanliness exercises •Train new employees in painting/preparation operations as required •Complete and maintain various records and documentation •Demonstrate the capability to work independently or in a team on complex and multiple projects requiring judgment to resolve problems Qualifications: •High School Diploma or GED •1-5+ years’ experience or demonstrate competency in related field •Meet company standard for pulmonary and respiratory functions •Demonstrated capacity to work with a diverse group of employees and departments •Demonstrated capacity to pass a drug screen, physical exam, respirator fit test, & background check •Must be able to read assembly blueprints in English format •Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as required •Demonstrated capacity to solve practical problems and work with limited standardization •Solid functional working knowledge of shop safety practices •Understanding of quality assurance concepts, typically acquired through in-house training Compensation: •401(k) Retirement Plan – NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
