Required Skills: •Lead packaging design, qualification, and validation activities including ship testing, drop testing, vibration testing, and cold chain validation. •Drive packaging standardization initiatives across product portfolios to improve consistency, quality, and operational efficiency, including packaging designs, engineering drawings, labeling, and specifications. •Identify and implement packaging cost reduction opportunities through design optimization, material selection, process improvements, and standardization efforts while maintaining product protection and regulatory compliance. •Investigate and assess shipping damage incidents, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective and preventive actions to improve packaging performance and product integrity. •Partner cross-functionally with Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) to resolve supplier-related quality and packaging issues, including participation in supplier assessments, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives as required. •Serve as an internal subject matter expert (SME) for sustainable packaging solutions, including emerging trends and technologies related to reusable, recyclable, biodegradable, and environmentally responsible packaging materials and systems. •Support organizational compliance with the European Union Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (EU Regulation 2025/40) by contributing to packaging strategy, design requirements, documentation, and implementation activities.
