Hiring: Owner Resource Center Director for the Division of Preservation Finance Company: NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development Location: New York, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 14:33:46 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, Portfolio Management, Program Management About the job Required Skills: •Create policies and develop programmatic areas to address service gaps for technical and financial assistance to stabilize properties financially and physically. •Manage staff that will be analyzing, tracking, and reporting on data associated with implementation of the SAFER Homes Act and historical data sets with other City Agencies including Department of Finance (DOF) and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). •Preparation and management of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for future rounds of in rem foreclosures associated with the SAFER Homes Act. •Working with HPD's internal data-analytics Performance Metrics Analysis, to report information on in rem rounds for both internal and external reports. •Interface directly with the DOF, DEP, NYC Law Department and staff across HPD to administer in rem foreclosures including overseeing the program from selection and commencement of the in rem action through transfer, including tracking properties, communication and responding to information requests. •Oversee outreach and communication to owners and residents, including ensuring owners are aware of resources that may help stabilize their property (which may be administered by HPD or other entities.) •Interface directly with HPD internal teams and external stakeholders to secure additional funding, including working within City procurement processes •Conduct requests for proposals (RFP) for ORC service contracts Qualifications: •This position is also open to qualified persons with a disability who are eligible for the 55-a Program.
