Every Time. •Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. •Current New York State NP or PA license, or eligibility to obtain one, with appropriate national board certification. •At least one year of orthopedic or comparable surgical APP experience; direct total-joint and operating-room experience is preferred. •Demonstrated capacity to conduct comprehensive orthopedic assessments, formulate evidence-based plans of care and manage patients within the provider's education, certification, licensure and privileges. •Demonstrated capacity to support operating-room workflow and complete all role-specific credentialing and privileging requirements; first-assist duties are assigned only when appropriately trained and privileged. •Strong communication, sound clinical judgment, reliability and a collaborative, team-first approach. •Full-time, Monday-Friday practice with a mix of clinic, OR and hospital-based responsibilities. •Typical clinic template is 8:00 a.m.-3:45 p.m. with an hour for lunch and approximately 20-24 patients per day. •Shared call generally includes one weekday per week and an approximately 1:6 weekend rotation.
