This role is ideal for seasoned UXO leaders who are confident making field decisions, driving safety performance, and mentoring teams in challenging environments. •As a technician III, you will serve as the on‑site authority for UXO operations—responsible for safety, quality, compliance, and execution from start to finish. •The candidate shall be qualified to perform Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) procedures and be competent and experienced in management, safety, and quality functions related to the investigation and removal of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO), Discarded Military Munitions (DMM), and Munitions Constituents (MC). •Jacobs seeks highly motivated, results-oriented professionals who can work independently, implement written plans, and maintain a safe and compliant work environment. •Minimum 13+ years of combined active-duty military EOD and contractor UXO experience •Demonstrated knowledge of US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) systems, processes, and procedures for Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) •Time Critical and Non-Time Critical Response Actions Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to pass a DoD/DoJ Security Background Check or National Agency Check (NAC) •ATF Employee Possessor or Responsible Person Certification •State Blasting License (as required by state) •USACE Construction Quality Management Certification •Graduate of a UXO-TI Course or Graduate of US Naval School of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (Phase I & II) •Demonstrated capacity to perform Walking, hiking, working in remote locations, working outdoors, working in rain, snow, wind, cold, heat, and over water, or at heights •Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
