Hiring: Operations Support Specialist 1 Company: Recology Location: California, United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 09:19:20 About the job Required Skills: •Provides administrative and clerical support to the operations department which may include calendaring, creating correspondence, developing reports, planning meetings and events, answering phones and other duties as assigned. •Performs timekeeping responsibilities including recording schedules, hours worked, vacation approvals, etc. to ensure that attendance records are properly maintained. •Courteously and tactfully assists customers, business partners, employees and vendors. •Generates purchase orders, follows up with vendors and enters repair orders on the fleet maintenance system. •Schedules and monitors shipping and receiving. •Ensures that all export standards are met. •Tracks commodities and takes inventory. •Schedules service and assigns drivers for special pick-ups, reassignment and arranges alternate coverage in case of employee absences or equipment failure.
