The role is responsible for coordinating meetings, managing schedules and communications, tracking action items, and supporting project-related activities to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations. •Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a customer-service mindset when working with internal and external stakeholders. •This position is based in Portland, Oregon. The position reports to the Senior Director and Chief of Staff. Qualifications: •College courses in Office Occupations or Office Technology will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. •Exceptional organizational and project coordination skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple competing priorities, adapt to changing needs, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. •Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information. •Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) and other business productivity and collaboration tools. •Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field, from an accredited institution. •Two years of experience providing administrative and operational support, including complex calendar management, travel coordination, meeting logistics, and prioritization of competing demands. •All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check. •This is a classified position represented by the SEIU Local 503, Oregon Public Employees Union.
