Hiring: Operations and Staff Development Division Director Company: Johnston County Government Location: Smithfield, NC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 13:14:28 Target Skills & Keywords : HIPAA, Medicaid, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance About the job Required Skills: •This positions leads key agency projects, evaluates service quality and ensures state and federal regulatory compliance. •Provides administrative support for the overall functioning of the agency, monitor and analyze compliance findings, formulation and implementing corrective action plans when needed. •Lead agency-wide initiatives from initiation through evaluation, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage business processes improvement timelines, benchmarks, and communication plans. •Assist with coordinating for staff relocation to the new building •Oversee the records digitization & retention, ensure data security/integrity during digitization, conduct audits, and maintain the records retention/destruction program in compliance with federal, state, and HIPAA mandates. •Write, update, and assist with implementing Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) and operational guides to improve service outcomes and efficiency. •Monitor agency program performance, case review trends, compliance findings, and established benchmarks. •Lead QA reviews across Children and Adult Services, implementing solutions and corrective action plans for identified gaps. Qualifications: •Thorough knowledge of methods and principles of casework supervision and training. •Thorough knowledge of social work principles, techniques, and practices and applications to casework and community problems. •Considerable knowledge of social and economic factors in the community, and local agencies and resources. •Considerable knowledge of the laws, regulations, and policies which govern social services programs. •Considerable knowledge of the principles and techniques of public administration, including personnel administration, budgeting, and office management. •Skill in directing a staff of social workers and supervisors and related professionals and students engaged in a variety of services. •NOTE: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities or qualifications associated with the job.
