Hiring: Onboarding Specialist Company: SpaceX Location: Bastrop, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 10:36:46 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Jira About the job Experience: •High level of organization and attention to detail •Prior experience leading projects from inception to implementation •Strong multi-tasking and time management skills •Demonstrated capacity to learn quickly on the job •High level of self-motivation, initiative, and sense of urgency to get things done Required Skills: •Help manage and scale the company’s domestic onboarding program •Lead design, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of orientation and onboarding programs with innovative strategies and tools •Partner with stakeholders across the company to update all new hire information for current company practices and policies •Develop and act on a deep understanding of internal onboarding-related systems •Track metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding programs, then develop and execute recommendations for program improvements •Assist in weekly orientation preparations •Provide outstanding service to our customers by responding in a timely manner to their questions •Identify and implement positive employee experiences to help new SpaceX employees adapt to company and team cultures quickly Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree •2+ years of professional experience in onboarding, learning and development, human resources, or program management •Position requires ability to travel up to 50% of the time •This is not a remote position and will require relocation if not already local to the Bastrop, TX area •Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends •To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. •1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. •1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
