Hiring: On-Site Service Engineer, 3rd Shift Company: Labcorp Location: Raritan, NJ Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 08:24:03 Employment Type: Contract / On-site About the job Required Skills: •Equipment Service & Support •Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Propel, Matrix, and Propel Plate Accelerator laboratory automation systems. •Perform routine and emergency maintenance activities to maximize equipment performance and uptime. •Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and service activities on assigned systems. •Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues. •Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of automation equipment at manufacturing facilities. •Install laboratory automation equipment at customer sites. •Conduct Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) following installation activities. Qualifications: •Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or another technical discipline with 3 or more years of field service experience supporting complex automation systems •3 or more years of field service experience supporting complex automation systems. •Demonstrated capacity to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds or more on a regular basis. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. •Knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnostic methodologies. •Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and automation systems. •Strong customer service and relationship-management skills. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Demonstrated capacity to instruct customers on equipment operation and maintenance. •Demonstrated capacity to accurately assess customer-reported issues and communicate effective solutions.
