This position will work closely with project leadership, field crews, and subcontractors to identify hazards, support safe work practices, and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the project. •The ideal candidate is comfortable working in the field, communicating expectations clearly, and addressing safety concerns with practical solutions. •Oversee daily jobsite safety activities during site preparation, excavation, concrete work, equipment installation, and piping construction. •Conduct routine site inspections, identify hazards, and follow corrective actions through completion. •Review job hazard analyses and participate in pre-task planning with supervisors and crews. •Lead site safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings. •Monitor activities involving heavy equipment, excavations, lifting and rigging, hot work, work at heights, and other hazardous tasks. •Verify that required protective equipment, safeguards, and work permits are in place before work begins. Qualifications: •Solid functional working knowledge of construction hazards, hazard controls, and applicable safety requirements. •Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with field crews, supervisors, and subcontractors. •Confidence addressing unsafe conditions while maintaining professional working relationships. •Relevant construction safety training or certifications preferred. •Availability to work on site in Dutch John, Utah 60 hours a week. •This is a field-based position on an active construction site.
