Works with internal and external stakeholders to support Orlando Health in providing a safe environment and complying with all applicable occupational safety regulations. •Assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of system-wide comprehensive occupational safety policies, procedures, and training programs to support continuous improvement and compliance. •Maintains strong relationships with site and departmental leadership to support Orlando Health goals, objectives, and performance. •O Evaluate compliance with Orlando Health policies and procedures, federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation requirements •Support performance improvement activities; and Meet key performance measures. •Assists Corporate Safety leadership with identifying trends and recommending options to reduce frequency and severity of issues related to occupational safety. •Performs audits of Orlando Health facilities for validation and documentation of compliant operation; initiates action(s) necessary to correct identified deviation(s) or violation(s) and prepares and submits written technical reports and documents based on findings. •Evaluates Corporate Safety programs for adequacy, compliance, and effectiveness; assists corporate safety leadership in developing and/or improving programs. Qualifications: •Associate degree in environmental, health and safety, industrial hygiene, healthcare related field. required or Bachelor degree, preferred.
