Location: Elmore, AL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 10:59:48 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Security Clearance About the job Required Skills: •Conduct one-on-one, direct observation of patients at risk of self-injury or suicide. •Under the supervision and guidance of a licensed behavioral health professional, conduct observational rounds on suicide watch and/or in select behavioral health settings. •Reliably document and communicate observations of patients on suicide watch and/or housed in behavioral health units. •Perform crisis intervention and de-escalation as indicated. •Monitor patients and promote prosocial behavior. •Participation in unit treatment team planning. •Documentation of critical incidents and treatment progress in patient’s medical record at the discretion of supervisor. •Participation in unit morning report and regular unit staff meetings. Qualifications: •High school diploma or equivalent. •Demonstrated capacity to effectively interact with institutional and clinical staff. •Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirement. •A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role. •Current needs are on the evenings (2:30P-11P), night (10:30p-7a) and weekends. •NaphCare is one of the largest providers of healthcare services to correctional facilities throughout the US and we are growing.
