Required Skills: •Play a vital part in the entire supply chain process for the HFIR, including reactor materials procurement, commercial grade dedication, materials management, and so much more! •Lead and oversee managing complex procurement activities for HFIR such as fabrications of safety related components and materials. Qualifications: •A BS/BA degree in a relevant field of study and at least 5 years of related experience. •Demonstrated ability to multi-task, display initiative, and solve problems. •Solid understanding of the ORNL procurement rules and processes. •Operational familiarity with the techniques used to successfully procure high-quality spare and replacement items. •Solid understanding of reactor systems, components, and equipment. •Familiarity of nuclear regulations, standards, and procurement guidance documents related to safety classification, procurement and receipt of items, and commercial grade dedication (including but not limited to: ASME NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR Part 21, EPRI NP-5652 including supplemental revisions). •Operational familiarity with applicable codes, standards, regulatory requirements, and guidance (e.g., ASME, ANSI, ASTM, IEEE, IEC, etc.). •Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. •This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an HSPD-12 PIV badge.
