Required Skills: •Develop ultrasonic and electromagnetic inspection systems for tubular goods. •Design and implement new procedures and methodologies for nondestructive testing. •Partner cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers on equipment design, manufacturing, and testing. •Investigate and resolve inspection challenges encountered in field operations. •Communicate technical findings and technical suggestions through detailed reports and presentations. •Support Operations with ultrasonic scan plans and address customer inquiries and technical issues. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics (with specialization in ultrasound/NDT), or a related field. •Demonstrated ability to perform both analytical and experimental research. •Solid functional working knowledge of programming languages and tools on PC (Windows or Linux) such as C, C++, C#, Python or JavaScript is highly desirable. •Operational familiarity with data acquisition, signal & image processing, electronics, ultrasonic probes, and instrumentation. •Knowledge of finite element methods for ultrasound or electromagnetism •Knowledge of computer vision or vision-language model for NDT or automation •Knowledge of industry standards such as API, ASTM. •Strong problem-solving skills and experience with practical problem-solving methodologies. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). •Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
