Adheres to corporate underwriting and pricing guidelines. Operates within written authority grant and makes referrals to management as required. •Provides professional, timely and courteous communication and service to external clients and cross departmental staff. •Provides the pertinent information and guidance to support staff required to process coverage requests in accordance with service guidelines. •Understanding and adherence to organizational and regulatory rules, and ability to adhere to underwriting authority. •Provides technical assistance to sales team and customers regarding policy and endorsement provisions and underwriting acceptability for designated insurance coverages. •Maintain strong industry knowledge on BOP or Package and WC underwriting expertise and changes in market/account positions. Develop and maintain full knowledge of all forms, coverages, ratings, and manuals for the specific line being underwritten. •Knowledge and experience underwriting BOP or Package is required. •Travel to agency offices for onsite underwriting 25%.
