Hiring: Network Engineer Company: Fortinet Location: Sunnyvale, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 00:09:26 Target Skills & Keywords : Make About the job Required Skills: •Work under the guidance of senior network engineers to deploy new communication network for Fortinet current/new offices within the USA. •Execute initial configurations of Fortigates, FortiSwitches, console servers, network PDUs, monitoring devices, etc. •Install and upgrade network hardware; configure firewall policies. •Gathering information, documenting, and updating network topologies. •Ordering network devices, rack-mounting, and cabling. •Respond, troubleshoot and resolve first-level support requests •Coordinates and communicates with users •Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours Qualifications: •Understanding of networking hardware and infrastructure •Practical experience utilizing network devices installation and network physical connections •Very good understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols •Fortinet NSE 4 certification is a requirement for this position •Other certifications in network engineering are a plus •Excellent teamwork, can-do attitude, and communication skills with end-users are essential. •Excellent English oral and written. •AA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent education and experience) •Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
