Based on your background, you may be considered for one or more relevant roles that best match your qualifications. •Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has opportunities for Network Engineers to join our team in San Diego, CA. •Perform as a consultant in highly specialized, leading edge information technologies and methodologies •Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance •Comply with cyber requirements, which may include routine system checks for antivirus, logging, and network system services •Recommend and implement approved system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management •Solve complex problems across disciplines in an Agile, Networking, and Software environment •Opportunity to travel for system installations, test support, and customer demos Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to apply Zero Trust principles including microsegmentation and identity-based policy enforcement. •Operational familiarity with SASE concepts and the convergence of SD-WAN with cloud-delivered security services. •Solid functional working knowledge of Kubernetes networking including CNI choice, ingress, and NetworkPolicy. •Knowledge of how to operate intent-based and AIOps platforms for predictive network operations. •Knowledge of HAIPE deployment and integration with classified network underlays. •Demonstrated capacity to automate network configuration, state collection, and traffic engineering in Python. •The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. •4 years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor degree.
