Required Skills: •Configure, deploy, upgrade and maintain network and telecommunication equipment according to DePaul specifications. Monitor network equipment status and respond to issues. •Complete all tasks associated with phone moves/adds/changes including programming dialing privileges, phone configurations, handset installation, and premise wiring. Work with internal customers to plan and execute department-level moves. Respond to trouble tickets while adhering to service level agreements. •Assist with the planning, installation and maintenance of structured cabling infrastructure. Work with trades and contractors as necessary to install, troubleshoot, and repair structured cabling. •Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and configuring WLAN (wifi) devices. •Performs other duties as assigned. •1 year of data networking and telecommunications experience OR equivalent work experience. •Possess knowledge of basic networking standards, protocols, principles, and services as applied in modern, enterprise, production networks. •Able to troubleshoot technical problems of basic to medium complexity using generally accepted troubleshooting principles.
