Experience with the following: Cisco Routing and Switching, Sonic Wall Firewalls, VOIP (Ring Central), SDWAN(Talari), WAP(Ubiquiti), Virtualization Technologies. •Demonstrated capacity to think through problems and visualize solutions. •Demonstrated capacity to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers. •Demonstrated capacity to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems. •Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources. Required Skills: •Maintains and administers computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. •Performs disaster recovery operations and data backups when required. •Protects data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures. •Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves hardware, software, and other network and system problems. •Replaces faulty network hardware components when required. •Maintains, configures, and monitors virus protection software and email applications. •Monitors network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made; confers with network users about solving existing system problems. •Designs, configuring and tests networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software; documents network infrastructure. Qualifications: •Operates master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems; coordinates computer network access and use. •Bachelor’s degree in information technology, related field of study with a network engineering focus or equivalent education and work experience.
