Hiring: National Field Director Company: Discover International Location: United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 10:27:59 About the job Experience: •7+ years of Medical Affairs experience, including 3+ years directly managing a field medical team Required Skills: •Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage a national team of regional MSLs across assigned territories •Set field medical strategy, KPIs, and territory/account plans in partnership with the VP, Medical Affairs •Coach and develop MSLs on scientific exchange, KOL engagement, and compliant field practices •Partner with Clinical Development to align field insights with evidence generation priorities •Oversee KOL mapping and segmentation strategy at a national level •Represent field medical in cross-functional planning with Commercial, Clinical, and Regulatory •Ensure field team activities are consistent, metrics-driven, and fully compliant with legal and regulatory standards •Lead national and regional MSL team meetings, training, and congress planning Qualifications: •PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent advanced degree in a life sciences field •Neuroscience/CNS therapeutic area experience strongly preferred; neurodegenerative or neuropsychiatric disease experience a plus •Proven ability to hire, coach, and retain high-performing field talent •Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills •Competitive base salary + annual bonus + LTI •Comprehensive benefits package + 401k Match •Multiple career growth paths into either field leadership or internal strategy Compensation: •$250,000 - $300,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
