Hiring: Multi-Site EHS Lead Company: Amazon Location: Midland, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:29:18 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office About the job Experience: •2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience •3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations •3+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management, or 2+ years of Amazon Safety (blue badge/FTE) experience Required Skills: •This position requires the flexibility to travel 50-70% of the time and work various shifts. •Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach •Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts •Work in an environment where the noise level varies •Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments) •Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs) •Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site •For those that do not have an adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, must obtain within 3 weeks of start date. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience •Distribution Center or manufacturing safety experience with mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people preferred. •Master’s degree preferred •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort collaborating with site leaders. •Demonstrated capacity to develop and implement department goals and strategies. •Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability. •Demonstrated capacity to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy •Proficient in Microsoft Office and the use of pivot tables and the development of charts and graphics. •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple sites/remotely.
