Hiring: Multi-Media Production Specialist Company: Akima Location: Sierra Vista, AZ Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 04:28:20 Employment Type: Contract / Remote About the job Required Skills: •Capture live events: Film and photograph high-profile military and academic events including Graduations, Change of Command Ceremonies, Change of Responsibility Ceremonies, and official rehearsals. •Studio photography: Execute professional staff photos by applying professional lighting design principles and utilizing available equipment •Video creation: Produce, edit, and deliver cinematic video presentations engineered specifically for playback at large-scale graduation ceremonies. •Instructional Media (CBT): Build Computer-Based Training (CBT) videos by translating storyboards and narration prompts into engaging, interactive learning modules. •Advanced Visuals: Integrate 3D-rendered objects and complex animations into digital media to visually simplify intricate concepts. •Material Production: Print, laminate, and assemble precise operational maps, large-format posters, standard checklists, and tactical flipbooks. •Custom Engraving: Operate professional engraving equipment to customize award plaques and presentation items. •Quality Assurance: Edit final deliverables in formats specified by the customer or program management Qualifications: •Minimum of four (4) years of documented experience in multimedia production, video production, instructional media development, or a closely related field. •Video Editing Software: Demonstrated proficiency in professional video editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Blender, or industry equivalents. •Design & Animation Software: Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent graphic design suites. •AI Production Tools: Familiarity with AI-facilitated production tools for animation, video enhancement, and content generation (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, ChatGPT). •Technical Equipment: Advanced hands-on experience with professional camera systems, studio/field lighting configurations, and stabilization hardware. •Pre-Production Skills: Strong storyboarding, script interpretation, and visual planning skills. •Professional Attributes: Proven ability to receive, process, and promptly incorporate constructive feedback under tight deadlines. •Adaptability: Physical and professional capability to work effectively in both structured office settings and dynamic field environments. •Applicant required to provide Portfolio/Proof of Required Qualifications at time of Interview •Associate's or bachelor's degree in Multi-Media Production, Digital Media, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
