Hiring: Mortgage Loan Advisors Company: East West Bank Location: Bellevue, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 09:39:15 About the job Experience: •3+ years' experience in mortgage lending Required Skills: •Lead and oversee generating business through direct marketing efforts to outside sources such as realtors, builders, attorneys, and professionals in the assigned areas to develop the mortgage business •Participate in all steps related to the origination of a mortgage loan including but not limited to, meeting with prospects, counseling borrowers, taking mortgage applications, collecting relevant documents and information to satisfy loan conditions, primary face to face, as well as by phone •Cross-sells and promotes the Bank and its services to the clients. •Maintain contacts with clients throughout the application process to keep them advise of status •Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. •Works closely with the mortgage operations teams from time of application through closing. •May perform other duties as assigned including contacting borrowers for loan retention purpose. Qualifications: •BA/BS degree in Finance, Economic, Accounting, or related field •Solid functional working knowledge of agency loan guidelines, such as Fannie Mae •Understanding of regulatory requirements interrelated to mortgage loan and home equity line of credit application processing. •Strong adaptability to procedural and system evolutions changes. •Good verbal and written communication skills. •Excellent level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. •Demonstrated capacity to adhere to strict deadlines and changing priorities. •Require Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act •Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
