Hiring: Molding Technician I Company: the LEGO Group Location: Richmond, VA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:50:47 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : Accessibility About the job Experience: •2–5 years of manufacturing experience (plastics preferred) •Technical certificate or coursework in plastics technology, manufacturing, or mechanical systems •Exposure to injection molding machine interfaces (e.g., Arburg, Engel, or similar) •Basic understanding of injection molding processes and parameters •Mechanical aptitude and safe tool handling Required Skills: •Dismantle, clean, assemble, and set up molding tools for production •Perform mold changes and prepare machines for production runs •Troubleshoot basic molding and equipment issues; escalate complex issues as needed •Monitor cycle times, injection intervals, and part quality •Support operators with process-related questions •Maintain mold cleanliness and readiness for production •Partner cross-functionally with production and mold maintenance teams to minimize downtime •Support production across multiple molding machines as directed, prioritizing tasks based on production needs Qualifications: •We do our best work to succeed together.
