Hiring: Mission Software Engineer, EW Company: Anduril Industries Location: Costa Mesa, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 10:24:10 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : C++, CI/CD, Computer Vision, Data Pipeline, Embedded Systems, Haskell, Linux, Rust, TypeScript About the job Experience: •4 years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent: strong internships, open source contributions, research) Required Skills: •What matters most is your engineering fundamentals, your ability to ship reliable software under pressure, and your willingness to own problems end-to-end — from understanding the mission need to getting working code into the hands of operators. •Develop and maintain mission-critical software across the EW product stack •Build and improve deployment tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management systems •Integrate EW systems with the broader Anduril Lattice ecosystem •Debug and resolve issues in production and field-deployed systems •Develop operator-facing tools and interfaces that make complex systems usable in high-stakes environments •Interface directly with embedded software and DSP engineers to bridge the gap between algorithm development and field-deployable software •Participate in field deployments, integration events, and customer engagements Qualifications: •1–4 years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent: strong internships, open source contributions, research) •Proficiency in at least one of: Haskell, Rust, C++, Go, or TypeScript •Comfort working in Linux environments •Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, systems concepts •Desire to learn new domains quickly — you'll pick up RF, EW, and defense-specific concepts on the job •Demonstrated capacity to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment where priorities shift based on mission needs •Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance •Willingness to travel up to 30% •Exposure to signal processing, RF systems, or software-defined radio •Contributions to open source projects in typed functional programming languages Compensation: •$166,000 - $220,000 / year •Competitive benefits and rewards package •Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
