Hiring: Millwright, Maintenance I Company: Barry Callebaut Group Location: Eddystone, PA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:02:41 About the job Required Skills: •Comply with company policies and procedures, including all safety, sanitation, and GMP work policies. •Diagnose and troubleshoot recurring mechanical failures, perform equipment condition inspections, recommend corrective actions, and execute preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment across the facility. •Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and verify operation of pumps, mechanical seals, couplings, bearings, pneumatic systems, automated valves, actuators, and related process equipment. •Maintain and repair process flow-control and material handling equipment, including process valves, diverter valves, slide gates, dampers, pneumatic conveying valves, rotary valves/airlocks, and related components. •Service pneumatic and valve-control components, including regulators, FRLs, solenoid valves, tubing, fittings, valve actuators, positioners, I/P converters, limit switches, proximity switches, and position indicators. •Support spare parts identification, PM improvement, repair planning, and follow-up work needed to reduce repeat failures. •Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance issues. •Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, planning, reliability, engineering, electrical, and controls personnel to coordinate work and repair status. Qualifications: •Root cause problem-solving skills, demonstrated by the ability to troubleshoot recurring mechanical failures. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently with minimal supervision and verify the quality and completeness of maintenance work. •Hands-on mechanical competency with pumps, mechanical seals, couplings, bearings, pneumatic systems, valve actuators, process valves, diverter valves, slide gates, dampers, pneumatic conveying valves, rotary valves/airlocks, and related flow-control equipment. •Demonstrated capacity to adapt to changing work priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. •Effective communication skills with all levels of personnel, including management, production operators, and maintenance mechanics, for work coordination, repair updates, shift handoffs, and CMMS documentation. •Strong personal accountability for safety, workmanship, equipment condition, and reliable return to service. •Demonstrates commitment to Safety and Food Safety and other Company/Site procedures. •Holds high standards for workmanship, equipment reliability, and safe return to service. •Works independently while contributing positively to team objectives. •Communicates clearly with production, maintenance, and supervision.
